The main goal of the project is: to improve the energy efficiency of three municipal buildings, which will reach the norm for buildings with close to zero energy consumption

Specific goals that will contribute to the successful implementation of the project are:

1. Prepared energy efficiency survey report

2. Implementation of energy efficiency measures in three municipal buildings;

3. Achieved building requirements for energy consumption class A+;

4. Provision of at least 55% of the consumed (supplied) energy for heating, cooling, ventilation, domestic hot water and lighting from RES;

5. Strengthening relations with the donor countries through a realized exchange of knowledge with a partner from Norway;

6. Increased managerial and expert capacity of the candidate's employees;

7. The objectives of the project are fully consistent with the main objective of the REEEES Program, which is aimed at reducing carbon intensity and increasing security of supply through:

8. Increasing the production of energy from RES;

9. Improving energy efficiency in buildings,

10. Increasing expert capacity in the field of energy efficiency.

11. The realization of the main and specific goals of the project will also contribute to achieving the general goals of EEA Financial mechanism:

12. Reduction of economic and social differences in the EEA,

13. Deepening of bilateral relations between the donor countries Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein and beneficiary countries, among which is Bulgaria.

The goals defined for the project are in full compliance with the main goal of the REEEES Program, which is aimed at reducing carbon intensity and increasing security of supply by:
- Increasing the production of energy from RES;
- Increasing expert capacity in the field of energy efficiency.

The implementation of the project's goals will contribute to the achievement of the general goals of EEA FM related to reducing economic and social differences in the EEA and strengthening bilateral relations between the donor countries and Bulgaria.

By achieving the above objectives, the project will also contribute to the general objectives of the EEA FM:
- Reduction of economic and social differences in the EEA;
- Deepening of bilateral relations between the donor countries Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein and beneficiary countries, among which is Bulgaria.
