On April 24, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the Meeting Hall of the Municipality of Pernik, a final press conference was held to present the activities carried out within the framework of the project BGENERGY-2.002-0052 "Energy efficiency in buildings on the territory of the Municipality of Pernik", financed under the procedure "Energy efficiency in buildings" of the Program "Renewable energy, energy efficiency, energy security" with the financial support of the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area 2014-2021, under which the Municipality of Pernik is a beneficiary, in partnership with an organization from Norway - IDN Research.
The total value of the project is BGN 2,303,103.87 and it will be implemented in the period 29.04.2022 - 30.04.2024.

On April 24, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the Meeting Hall of the Municipality of Pernik, a final press conference was held to present the activities carried out within the framework of the project BGENERGY-2.002-0052 "Energy efficiency in buildings on the territory of the Municipality of Pernik", financed under the procedure "Energy efficiency in buildings" of the Program "Renewable energy, energy efficiency, energy security" with the financial support of the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area 2014-2021, under which the Municipality of Pernik is a beneficiary, in partnership with an organization from Norway - IDN Research.
The total value of the project is BGN 2,303,103.87 and it will be implemented in the period 29.04.2022 - 30.04.2024.
The main goal of the project is aimed at improving the energy efficiency of three municipal buildings to reach the norm for buildings with close to zero energy consumption. These are the building of VI Secondary School "St. St. Cyril and Methodius", the building of a gymnasium at VI Secondary School "St. St. Cyril and Methodius" the building of full-day kindergarten 15 "Raina Knyaginya".
The event was officially opened by Mr. Stefan Krastev - Deputy Mayor of Pernik Municipality.
After that, the floor was given to Mr. Kostadin Kostadinov, who presented the implementation of the activities of the project on the eve of its completion, and the successful implementation of the most important activity of the project - that of implementing energy efficiency measures in the mentioned three municipal buildings on the territory of the city of Pernik.
In addition, the positive impact of the partner exchange with the donor country within the framework of the project was highlighted, where in October 2023 the municipality of Pernik was visited by representatives of the Norwegian partner, and at the beginning of April 2024, experts from the municipal administration made a working visit to the city of Oslo, Norway.
